Challenge

MediaMarktSaturn wanted to improve its outdoor areas to create a more pleasant environment. However, during our analysis, deeper issues related to culture, technology and work dynamics emerged, which could not be resolved through landscaping alone.

Our approach

We translated the findings into a targeted strategy centred on employees’ needs. Together with Facility Management and HR, we implemented two pilot zones that tested new spatial and cultural models, supporting hybrid working, digital collaboration and team cohesion.

Generated impact

The pilot zones validated the viability of a larger-scale roll-out. They demonstrated improvements in engagement, collaboration and spatial satisfaction, laying the foundations for a campus-wide transformation.
