Challenge

The BEUMER Group was inspired by another BICG project, which led to the launch of this pilot project at its headquarters in Dortmund. They sought to modernise the working environment, enhance collaboration, and attract and retain talent

Our approach

Through a full-scale project, we implemented both architectural design and change management to guide the transformation. Workshops and information sessions with employees involved everyone at every stage. Among other New Work principles, the office adopted the concepts of ‘homezones’ and desk sharing.

Generated impact

The concept was very well received and BICG was commissioned for a subsequent end-to-end project to transform the headquarters in Beckum. This project also continued to include change management and architectural services.
