Challenge
When TeamViewer moved into the Göppingen building in 2019, the new headquarters did not reflect its rapid growth or its culture. Acoustic issues and a fragmented design did not support the diversity of activities and identities within the organisation. TeamViewer sought to create a workspace that would make its culture tangible through design and branding, whilst improving comfort and functionality for a growing team.
Nuestro enfoque
BICG carried out a tailored analysis, workshops and active change management to translate the culture into space. As the walls could not be drastically altered, we focused on zoning through furniture, repurposed open areas for collaboration and defined special zones with bespoke furniture and a customised interior concept. We managed the entire furniture procurement process, implemented a major graphic design intervention that transformed the corridors, and ensured delivery through co-design, block-and-stack planning and close PMO coordination with the client.
Generated impact
The redesign produced a flexible, culture-oriented headquarters with improved acoustics, communication flows and space utilisation. The solution shaped TeamViewer’s internal processes and provided a model for future implementations at other locations.
