Challenge
The IT department was spread across several buildings on campus, lacking representative, modern workspaces suited to hybrid working. The FlexibleOffice pilot aimed to create an environment that would attract new talent, boost productivity and collaboration, and reflect both their dynamic way of working and their strong affinity for technology.
Our approach
After analysing the culture, technology, space and work dynamics, the main IT building on campus was chosen to be transformed to embrace hybrid working, digital tools and flexible spaces, with BICG leading the turnkey project. The insights gained were translated into a targeted, people-centred strategy, accompanied by change management. The variety of new spatial modules, supported by technology and enriched with a tangible and holistic brand design and experience, were the main drivers.
Generated impact
The FlexibleOffice @ IT has established itself as a benchmark for the future of work on the SICK campus. Thanks to the diversity of spatial modules and advanced technological features, productivity and collaboration have improved, attracting new talent.
