Challenge
Agbar (later Suez, now Veolia) faced the challenge of aligning its workforce and culture with the company’s vision during the move from the Agbar Tower to the new Ciutat de l’Aigua building. The organisation needed to break down departmental silos, foster collaboration between teams and create a more agile, people-centred way of working that would promote both operational efficiency and employee engagement.
Nuestro enfoque
We implemented a participatory transformation process, involving both employees and change ambassadors. Furthermore, we redesigned workflows to improve efficiency and modernised digital tools. Finally, we optimised the office layout using an Activity-Based Office model and streamlined processes (such as document management), ensuring that both technology and culture supported the new ways of working.
Generated impact
97% of employees expressed satisfaction with the change process. Furthermore, almost one million pages were digitised. In addition, the company launched a pilot scheme allowing 20% of the workforce to work remotely, laying the foundations for a flexible, sustainable and collaborative working culture.
