to:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Modernize the work environment,<\/li>\n<li>Enhance collaboration,<\/li>\n<li>Attract and maintain talent.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>This vision was aimed at making BEUMER Group a forward-thinking and competitive company in their industry.<\/strong> The project involved redesigning 400m\u00b2 of office space and supporting this with the necessary change guidance for the successful implementation of New Ways of Working.<\/p>\n<p>The space initially consisted of one hallway with attached offices and was redesigned to an activity based working or multi-space concept with new opportunities.<\/p>\n<p>The corresponding change support ensured the employees&#8217; needs were met and the new spaces were effectively adopted. Merging the architectural discipline with change management resulted in the following key initiatives: <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Analyzing work needs:<\/strong> Conducting expert interviews and workshops to understand and address the specific cultural and architectural needs of all teams.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Offering a variety of room modules:<\/strong> Designing different types of rooms to support these work needs, e.g. collaboration rooms for meetings, think tanks for concentration, and brainstorming spaces for innovative tasks. Employee workshops facilitated the implementation of the overall New Ways of Working concept. <\/li>\n<li><strong>Layouts accounting for \u2018clean desk\u2019 policy:<\/strong> Enhancing the existing clean desk policy with a new layout that promoted order and efficiency (e.g. the addition of lockers, and additional workspaces).<\/li>\n<li><strong>Office space equipped for hybrid work through the incorporation and education of newest technologies:<\/strong> Incorporating spaces that support both in-office and remote work. In parallel, hosting workshops to teach the use of such technologies and how to effectively implement this into daily work. <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Additional events which supported the transformation subsequently hired for a 12,000 m\u00b2 change and architecture project in their headquarters in Beckum, Germany.<\/strong> With the currently ongoing project, employees continue to express large commitment and excitement for the change.<\/p>\n<p>The BEUMER Dortmund project concluded in June 2023, marking a <strong>significant milestone in the BEUMER Group journey towards creating a modern and collaborative work environment.<\/strong> This transformation not only addressed immediate needs but also aligned with BEUMER&#8217;s long-term vision of being a leader in innovation and employee
